Kaylie Sirovy
Multimedia Journalist
ABOUT
I'm a fourth-year senior at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. I have two majors: Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, and Journalism. For the past two years I have been the podcast producer for The Minnesota Daily, the university's student publication, where I have created, edited and produced audio stories. Outside of school and work, I love to read, play video games and take care of my many, many house plants.

Being a journalist, my passion is storytelling through multimedia. I prefer audio journalism because of the authenticity and intimacy that comes with it. Listening to someone's voice connects the reader in a way written stories sometime miss. I have recently become interested in learning about radio and video storytelling.
